On the Match & Tailor page, paste a job ad and press the orange Understand this role button. You get a plain explanation of what the job really is behind the title: a typical working day, where the time goes, the demands the ad does not spell out, how well your resume fits it, and points worth asking the employer about. The day-to-day picture is what roles like this usually involve — it is not a promise about that employer, so check the "worth confirming" points at the interview. Your answer is saved: rereading it is free, and Regenerate writes a fresh one after you update your resume.
Many roles are filled before they are ever advertised — through timing, referrals and people who introduced themselves early. A letter of interest is a short letter to a company you want to work for that has no ad up: who you are, why them, what you bring, and a request to be kept in mind. On the Applications board, press ✉ Letter of interest and we write one from your resume — you edit it and send it yourself.
The method matters more than the letter. Send it to a named person (the manager of the team, found on the company site or LinkedIn), not "Dear Hiring Manager". Follow up once, one to two weeks later — most replies come from the follow-up. And keep it targeted: ten to thirty researched letters beat five hundred identical ones, which land as spam. The board card it creates carries a reminder so the follow-up happens.
The Business Studio holds two shelves of business ideas. One comes from your Career Explorer report — ideas matched to your personality. The other reads your resume: press Read my resume for business ideas and it suggests businesses your real qualifications and experience could carry — a teacher's diploma carries tutoring, a broking certificate carries a broking practice — each with the evidence named and a first step. Map the path turns any idea into a Career Manager road map. It reads your main resume. If an idea names a licence or a qualification, check that yourself with the official body — it is not a promise.
It is a monthly subscription. Cancel from Manage subscription in your account menu. You keep full access until the end of the month you have already paid for — cancelling stops the next payment, it does not cut you off on the day. Sign in with the same email address you used when you paid, then open your report again — the full version appears in place of the locked sections. If it still looks locked, email us and we will sort it out.
Yes. Nothing is final. Open Resumes & Cover Letters, press ✏️ Edit, change what you like and download it again. You can keep several resumes for different kinds of role.
No, everything works on a phone. Reading your report and building a resume are easier on a bigger screen, so use one if you have one.
Your answers power your own results and nothing else. A report link is private unless you choose to share it. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
