JobMatcha is a career assistance tool. It helps you think,
prepare and apply — it doesn't make decisions for you, and it can't promise you a job.
What JobMatcha is — and isn't
- JobMatcha is a self-directed careers tool: tests, reports, resume and application helpers, practice tools and planning aids.
- It is not professional careers advice, clinical assessment, financial advice, or legal advice — and its suggestions are starting points for your own thinking, not instructions.
- JobMatcha does not promise that using it will get you a job, an interview, a promotion, or that you will "find your passion". Outcomes depend on you and the job market.
Your responsibilities
- Check everything before you use it. Resumes, cover letters, reports and any other output can contain errors or things that don't apply to you. Review and correct them before sending anything to an employer — you are the final editor and the only judge of what's true about you.
- Decisions are yours. If you make career, education or financial choices using information from JobMatcha, you do so at your own judgement — for big decisions, consider advice from a qualified human (career practitioner, financial counsellor, etc.).
- Keep your account details accurate and your password private.
Fair use
- One account per person; don't share accounts or resell access.
- Don't attempt to extract our datasets, scrape the service, or use it to build a competing product.
- We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or other users.
Payments
Where a paid unlock is offered, it's charged as described on the pricing page.
What JobMatcha is, and what it isn't
JobMatcha is a tool that helps you prepare — it is assistance, not advice. It doesn't act for you,
and it doesn't make decisions for you.
- Check everything before you use it. Resumes, cover letters, selection-criteria answers, match
scores, salary figures and report narratives are drafts and estimates. You are responsible for reading
them and correcting anything that is wrong, out of date, or doesn't reflect your real experience.
- Only you can vouch for what's true. Anything you send to an employer is your statement, not ours.
Never submit a claim about your history, qualifications or results that you cannot stand behind.
- Not professional advice. Nothing here is legal, financial, migration, medical or psychological
advice, and nothing is a clinical or diagnostic assessment. For those, see a qualified professional.
- No guarantee of outcomes. We can't promise interviews, offers, a salary, or that any employer
will respond. Hiring decisions are made by employers, on grounds we don't control.
- Information can be wrong. Job ads, wage data and employer information come from third parties
and change without notice. Verify anything that matters before you rely on it.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the non-excludable guarantees of the Australian Consumer
Law), JobMatcha isn't liable for decisions you make, or outcomes you experience, based on information or
documents produced with the service.
Privacy
How we handle your data is covered separately, in the same plain language: our privacy page.
