How this works ▾
Every resume below comes with a matching cover letter.
- Resume or Cover letter — download either one as a PDF
- Edit — change what they say
- Main — the one already filled in under “Which resume?” on the Match & Tailor page. You can change it there any time.
🔍 Find me jobs
Pick a resume. We scan live job ads and rank the strongest matches.
📋 Capture a job posting
Grab the full job description from any site and score it against your resume. Use the one-click bookmarklet, or paste the text in yourself.
⭐ Recommended: install the bookmarklet (30 seconds, one-time)
Drag the green button → up to your browser's bookmarks bar. After that, on any job page, click the bookmark and JobMatcha opens with the full description ready to score.
Don't see your bookmarks bar? Press Ctrl+Shift+B (Windows) or ⌘+Shift+B (Mac).
How does the bookmarklet work?
- Install — drag the green button above to your bookmarks bar. Once only.
- On any job page — click the bookmark. It copies the full posting and opens this page.
- Back here, click Read from clipboard, pick a resume and hit Score Job.
It runs in your browser, not on our servers, so it works on every site and nothing about the page you're on reaches JobMatcha until you click Score Job.
Already used the bookmarklet? Read it now
Click below. Your browser will ask you to allow clipboard read once — then we'll show the captured job description.
Or paste a job description manually
✦ Match & Tailor Step 1
- Check match rating — scores this job out of 100. About 30 seconds.
- Tailor application — rewrites your resume and cover letter for this ad. About a minute. Ratings are kept in Saved Reports, tailored documents in Applications.
📨 Applications Step 3
Every job in one place: saved roles, applications you sent, and today's follow-ups.
- You don't have to type these in. Tailor an application and the job appears here by itself, with the resume and cover letter attached.
- Add one by hand only for a job you applied for somewhere else.
- Moving a card to Applied is your call. Nothing marks a job as applied for you.
🏅 My Achievements
Write down what you have done at work. We reuse it in your cover letters, selection criteria and interview answers.
How to use this page
There are two lists on this page, and they do different jobs.
- 🏅 My Achievements — for applying for jobs. Full stories with a situation and a result. Used in your cover letters, your selection-criteria answers and your interview practice.
- 📌 Weekly Wins — for the job you are already in. One line, written the moment something goes well. These, and only these, become 🖨 Promotion evidence for your manager.
- Add one. Find achievements in my resume drafts from a resume. + Add an achievement writes your own.
- Fill five boxes. Title, situation, task, what you did, result. Add a number to the result if you can, then tick up to 3 skills.
- Approve each one. Nothing saves until you say so, and you can edit every word.
- Aim for 5 to 10. Each one takes about three minutes to write, and we reuse them everywhere.
A win vs an achievement. A win is written the moment
something goes well. An achievement is written for an employer to read.

🧭 Career Manager. This page is what you have done. Every
step you tick off in Career Manager is saved here as a win.
Open Career Manager at the start of the week, and come here when you are writing an application.
Write one line the moment something goes well. Every step you tick off in 🧭 Career Manager is saved here, and Promotion evidence turns them into one dated page for your manager. It is built from these wins only — the achievements above are not included.
📑 KSC Studio
Key Selection Criteria (KSC) are the written questions in Australian government, education, health and council applications.
What is this, and is it for me?
Who it is for. Jobs in the public service, schools, TAFE, hospitals, universities, councils and not-for-profits. If the ad lists statements like "Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities", those are selection criteria, and you must answer them in writing. Private companies almost never ask for them.
Why it matters. The panel builds its shortlist from these answers, one criterion at a time. A strong resume with weak answers does not get shortlisted.
When to use it. After you find the job, before you apply. Paste the position description. We find the criteria, match each one to something you have really done, and draft the answers — nothing is invented.
What you need first. A few entries in My Achievements — the drafts are written from those.

🧭 Career Manager
Turn a goal into small weekly steps.
Your goals
+ Add a goal
Use this when you know where you want to end up — a different role, department or profession — but not how to get there.
How this works
- Start a goal two ways: write it in your own words, or map a route to a specific job. Pasting a job ad is optional — it aims the route.
- If you have a resume here, the road map builds on the qualifications and experience it already shows.
- We turn it into small weekly steps, one or two at a time.
- Each week you tick ✓ Did it or → Couldn't. The plan adjusts either way.
What you get back
- A weekly email with your next step.
- Every step you finish is saved as a win in 🏅 My Achievements — evidence for your next pay review.
- If a step didn't happen, say what got in the way and the plan works around it.
- A quiet week is fine. The plan slows with you.
🏅 My Achievements. Steps you tick off here are saved there as wins. Come back at the start of each week, and open My Achievements when you are writing an application.
🚀 Your own business. Some destinations — tutor, consultant, a trade — can also be run as a business of your own. When that is true, your road map shows a second door to Business Studio so you can plan it that way instead. Both doors stay open.

Saved Reports Step 2
Every check you have run is kept here, so you can go back to it.
- Open one for the full report — what matched, what was missing, likely interview questions, and a button to tailor your resume.
- Each row is one check, not one job. If you check the same ad twice, you get two rows.
- Check a new job · See your Applications
